Voicemail – what it is and how to remove it
Carrier voicemail can intercept calls before they reach Puhebotti. This guide explains what voicemail is and how to disable it before activating call forwarding.
What is voicemail?
Voicemail is a service that lets callers leave an audio message when you don't answer. The message is stored and you can listen to it later. Carrier voicemail is the most common type and is usually enabled by default on mobile subscriptions.
How voicemail works
The problem with carrier voicemail for businesses
Voicemail works fine for personal use, but for businesses it forces you to listen to every message before knowing what action to take. Puhebotti solves this: it answers calls immediately, collects the caller's details and sends a summary straight to your email — no queue, no delay.
Important: If carrier voicemail is active, it may intercept calls before they reach Puhebotti. Disable it before activating call forwarding.

Any existing voicemail messages will no longer be accessible after disabling the service. New callers will be answered by Puhebotti instead of being sent to voicemail, so you won't miss any calls going forward.
